The first INTENSE multiplier event took place end of January in Berlin at “Ludwig Erhard Haus” in the heart of West-Berlin. The multiplier event brought together SMEs and two student teams from HTW Berlin, the INTENSE project partners, as well as further stakeholders of the INTENSE project. Throughout the winter term, two student teams from HTW Berlin worked with two Berlin-based companies with the aim to support the companies’ internationalisation processes. At the multiplier event, the two student teams presented the results of the consultancy project to the companies.
The event was supported by the external partner of INTENSE ‘Berlin Partner für Wirtschaft und Technologie’ that offered a professional business location for the multiplier event.
Project Manager of Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Wolfgang Treinen (represented by Berlin Partner) welcomed the guests and introduced the EEN to the audience. The publicly funded network supports INTENSE with detecting and matching companies for a collaboration with students and is an important external partner for the project. Before the students presented their projects, Prof. Dr. Veit Wohlgemuth presented the objectives, project components and the outputs of the INTENSE project.
The first presentation by the student team working with the company ‘index’ (a Berlin-based PR, HR- and Marketing company) focused on new strategies for enabling further international co-operation. Students presented different internationalisation methods to use for Index in different countries and investigated PR-industries in different countries. The second student team presented the results of working with the company ‘soulbottles’, a young company producing sustainable water bottles. The students conducted customer research in Utrecht to find out how soulbottles could enter the Dutch market. The team’s research focused on finding retailers, wholesalers, and trade fairs for ‘soulbottles’. At the end of the event, both teams handed over their consultancy reports to the companie. #projectINTENSE #multiplierevent #EnterpriseEuropeNetwork #SOULbottles #IndexBerlin
