Intensive programmes for higher education learners and for teaching staff
November 27, 2017 @ 08:00 - December 1, 2017 @ 17:00
ISP activity of Pilot run: 5 Students per partner university will meet in Utrecht, The Netherlands, for five full days. They will receive specific training by the accompanying HEI staff (C3) and have time to build international student working teams and to work on their projects. The ISP fosters the interaction of students from different academic disciplines and focuses on the transfer of transversal competences. The selection of ISP participants (students) is carried out by the national stearing group in each country, based on prior agreements of the Strategic Partnership consortium. The HEI staff will have time to build international cooperation, exchange their teaching approaches and discuss their teaching input. Each teacher will teach his/her subject and hence enrich the taught portfolio to ensure multinational teaching of specialist topics. This ratio of staff to students is specifically relevant for the pilot run to guarantee active classroom participation. Furthermore, it allows the teaching staff to exchange views on teaching content, new curricula approaches, to test innovative teaching methods that they can transmit to their home universities.
